Mental health and well being
While football operates as a business, we recognise the importance of prioritising the well-being of our clients as individuals alongside their roles as players. We are acutely aware of the mental challenges and pressures faced by both academy and professional players, especially in the evolving landscape post-COVID. Under the guidance of our Head of Welfare, we have developed a comprehensive Client Welfare Model aimed at addressing the emotional and mental health needs of our clients and their families.
This model encompasses one-on-one check-ins, mental health first-aid, injury support, counselling services, and liaison with parents, staff, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure our clients receive the necessary welfare and support. Additionally, we have implemented robust policies and procedures to safeguard the well-being of minors, reflecting our commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all individuals involved.
